Objective of the Course

Participants after this course will be in a position to understand the basics of film editing and execute simple editing jobs and understand the nuances of filmmaking from the editing perspective. This course mainly aims at students or professionals who cannot afford a 3 year long advanced course in Editing.

Aim and Objective of the under graduate 10+2 level academic program for the SRFTI temporary campus at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

Aim:

By the end of the program the students are aware about the followings.
1. Cinema in India is a very vast field that offers definite career options in its various departments at play and the same can be pursued after the completion of graduation.
2. The knowledge of the “basic apparatus” and “sensibility” required in making films.

Objective:

10+2 Students after doing the program will be able to chart a path for self to pursue filmmaking as a profession and accordingly choose a graduation and a post graduation program that will empower them further in reaching the goal.

Course duration: 05 January to 10 February 2019 (12 days / 24 sessions / 72 Hours)

Timing: 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (Break: 1.00 to 2.00 p.m.)

Medium of instruction: The medium of instruction would be mainly Bengali & English. Participants are expected to have adequate knowledge in Bengali and / or English as regards to reading, writing & speaking.

Nationality: Indian

Educational Qualification: Studying Graduate

Age: Participants must be 18 years or above in age as on 31st December, 2018

No. of participants: 25 (Course will be conducted only if minimum strength of 15 is reached)

Faculty: SRFTI / FTII Academicians & Industry Professionals

Certificate: On successful completion of the course. Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory.
