SRFTI enjoys the very special privilege of holding the Convocation on 2^nd May which happens to be the legendary maestro Satyajit Ray’s birthday.This year, 2014, Guest of Honour Padmashree Ratan Thiyam graced the occasion with his thought provoking convocation address. This occasion was well attended by the faculty members, present and ex-students, staff members of SRFTI and parents of students who received their certificates. The Eighth Annual Convocation of SRFTI Kolkata was held on May 2, 2018. The Convocation was graced by Shri. Sayed Mirza, Eminent Film maker, and Shri Kundan Shah, noted Indian film director and screenwriter.

05:30 PM – 05:45 PM	Welcome Music by “Kolkata Kalling”
05:45 PM – 06:00 PM	Screening of assorted Diploma film Clips of the 11th batch
06:00 PM – 06:15 PM	Director will felicitate Chief Guest and Dean will felicitate Guest of Honor.
