Educated at St.Xavier’s ( Kolkata ). An Alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune with specialization in Screen Acting. He has been working as a professional actor for almost 20 years in films, Television and OTT establishing himself as a versatile actor in the film and theatre industry. In this span as an actor, his films have travelled to various festivals nationally and internationally winning awards, appreciation and accolades. His film ” AMI ADU ” had won a national award in the best feature film category. The National Film Archive Of India accepted his film ” ICCHEE ” as a part of their collection of cultural and educational purposes. He had also had the opportunity to work with Rituparno Ghosh in a Docu-Fiction on the Bard of Bengal Rabindranath Tagore titled “JEEVAN SMRITI” produced by the Government of India as Tagore. He had also directed films and Web shows.

He has also been involved in teaching the craft of acting in various Institutes. He had taught at the Tripura Film and Television Institute at Agartala (Tripura) for almost 2 years. He has also taught as a visiting faculty at the State Institute of Film and Television, Rohtak (Haryana). He had taught at the Prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune inspiring and igniting eager young minds in furthering their talent and passion for the craft of Acting. He has recently joined the Film and Television Institute of India, Itanagar as the Head of the Department of Screen Acting.

A National Award winning writer, director and producer, Bishnu completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Cinema, specializing in Direction and Screenplay Writing, from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), an academic institution under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India.
Selected for Talent Campus India, organized by Berlinale Talent Campus, in 2007, Bishnu was awarded the UK Environment Film Fellowship in 2010.
Bishnu’s films include Shukranu, Bagher Bachcha, Pratyabartan, I was Born in Delhi, and The Diary of a Refugee and have won numerous awards including National Film Award, Nomination at International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) and Opening Film in Indian Panorama at International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Supported/produced/co-produced by Sundance Institute, Japan Broadcasting Corporation/NHK, British Council, British High Commission, Films Division, Government of India, Public Service Broadcasting Trust; Bishnu’s films have been telecast on National Geographic, NHK, YLE, and Doordarshan, among others.
Ram Ji Ka Ghoda, his debut feature film script was selected as one of the six projects for the Drishyam | Sundance Screenwriters Lab 2016.
Bishnu’s debut feature fiction film as director, Shukranu, also written by him, was produced by Reliance Entertainment.
Bishnu’s debut feature fiction film as producer, Mangta Jogi, is readying for release.
Bishnu has been the Head/Director Programming – DocedgeKolkata, Asian Forum for Documentary, from 2010 – 1018.
Bishnu has also been the jury member of the National Film Awards, Docaviv International Film Festival, National Students’ Films Awards, among others.
Bishnu has conducted numerous workshops/classes and been part of sessions as industry expert/guest faculty at various institutions including FTII, SRFTI, IIT Bombay, Mumbai University, and Manipal University among many others.

Dominic Sangma is a graduate of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, India, specialised in Direction and Screenplay Writing. He worked at National Film and Development Corporation Ltd, for two years before he opened his own production company ANNA FILMS. He co-founded Kelvin Cinema Festival of Films and he is an Artistic Director of the festival. He was in Juries for various film festivals Including Indian Panorama, International Film Festival of India and the Guwahati International Short Film and Documentary Film Festival. He was selected in Berlinale Talents 2020.
His first feature film MA•AMA (India/China) became the first Garo film to win a National Award. His second feature film Rapture which is a India / China / Switzerland / Qatar / Netherlands co-production world premiered at the Locarno Film Festival 2023. Since then it’s been travelling to various film festivals including Busan IFF, 3 Continents Nantes, EnergaCamerimage, Mumbai IFF (NETPAC Award) and has won multiple awards. Rapture was supported by Hubert Bals Fund, Vision Sud Est and Doha Film Institute.

Kumaradas T. N. is a classically trained contemporary Indian actor, theatre director, theatre designer, and veteran performance educator from Kerala with over two decades of distinguished experience spanning theatre, cinema, television, and academia. Uniquely credentialed with a specialisation in Theatre Technique & Design from the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, alongside a Post Graduate Diploma in Screen Acting from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, he represents a rare intersection of rigorous classical stagecraft and nuanced cinematic performance. He is also UGC-NET qualified in Performing Arts and holds a Certificate in Phonetics and Phonology from the Department of Linguistics at the University of Mumbai. Currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Screen Acting at FTII Itanagar, he actively contributes to the pan-India performing arts landscape by integrating diverse acting methodologies, voice work, and traditional martial practices into an interdisciplinary pedagogy.
Before bringing his expertise to FTII Itanagar, Kumaradas built a prolific academic footprint across India’s premier media and performance institutions. He has previously served as the Head of the Department of Screen Acting at the Ahalia School of Media Studies & Future Technologies and as the Head of the Design Department at the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama (MPSD) in Bhopal. Furthermore, his reputation as a master trainer has made him a sought-after guest expert and visiting faculty member at highly esteemed institutions, including the National School of Drama (New Delhi), the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, the K. R. Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, the Central University of Hyderabad, Pondicherry University, and the Department of Indian Theatre at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
As an educator, his comprehensive pedagogical approach focuses on actor training for both stage and screen, blending classical traditions with contemporary practices. His core training expertise spans realistic acting, the Stanislavsky System, Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting, and the Sanford Meisner Technique, alongside specialized camera acting and audition techniques. He places deep emphasis on physical and vocal conditioning, incorporating intensive exercises in concentration, relaxation, breathwork, improvisation, character development, and performance analysis. To enrich the modern actor’s physical vocabulary, his teaching integrates structural voice culture and diction with traditional performance forms and martial arts, drawing from his own training in Kalaripayattu and Yoga.
As a professional screen actor, Kumaradas has featured extensively in multi-lingual feature films, acclaimed web series, shorts, and television commercials across Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and English. Audiences will recognise him from his prominent roles in major streaming projects such as the Prime Video original series Poacher and the Hindi web series Avrodh: Season 1 and City of Dreams: Season 1. His feature film credits include notable performances in Do Aur Do Pyaar, the Apple original film Fursat, the multilingual film Rudhiram, and Malayalam features such as Ronth, Soothravakyam, Idi Mazha Kattu, and a cameo in Innu Muthal. He will also be seen in the upcoming Netflix USA short film Yakshi. In the commercial space, he has led high-profile national campaigns for Spotify India, Symphony Cooler, and McDonald’s India alongside superstar Jr. NTR.
Simultaneously, Kumaradas has established a highly accomplished career off-screen as a director and designer, with over ten theatrical productions to his credit in India and abroad. His directorial portfolio demonstrates a masterful grasp of complex global and Indian texts, featuring plays such as The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Threepenny Opera, The Trojan Women, Trojan Women: A Love Story, Ravunni, Goi, A Black Talcum Powder Project, and Short Stories About Uff. Notably, his international directorial venture of Nagamandala premiered in Ireland in 2014. Beyond fictional narratives, he has also written and directed the documentary film Baiga Bhoomi, which focuses on the lives of the Baiga tribal communities.
His profound technical expertise in scenography, light design, and production layouts has earned him invitations to present his work at elite global platforms. His design projects and exhibition showcases have been featured at the prestigious Prague Quadrennial in the Czech Republic, the Global Alliance of Theatre Schools (GATS) in Shanghai, China, and include technical highlights like the multimedia design for Macbeth and serving as the Associate Production Designer for Dazed in a Doon. His exceptional contributions to the arts have been recognised with the Best Actor Award at the Mankada Ravi Varma Short Film Festival for Boudhavapuram (Utopia), a Best Actor Nomination at the Mumbai International Cult Film Festival for Pound of Flesh, and a Best Light Design Nomination at the prestigious Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META).
Kumaradas T. N. believes that meaningful actor training emerges through the integration of disciplined craft, embodied practice, critical inquiry, and lived experience. His pedagogy draws equally from classical theatre traditions, contemporary global acting methodologies, and active professional screen practice. At FTII Itanagar, his mission remains focused on cultivating technical proficiency alongside creative fearlessness, equipping students to respond confidently to the evolving landscape of global cinema and theatre.

Alka Singh is a filmmaker and educator with 18 years of experience in documentary filmmaking. She has worked on projects for international broadcasters such as NHK, Arte, and PSBT. Currently, she is completing a feature documentary titled Ribba, which focuses on the lives of women and religious syncretism in the village of Ribba in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh.
In addition to her filmmaking work, Alka has taught Screenplay Writing and Direction at institutions including MIT Art Design and Technology University, Film and Television Institute of India, Flame University, and Annapurna College of Film and Media. Her teaching emphasizes fostering creative thinking and developing strong practical skills in filmmaking.

Shahi A.J is a filmmaker and educator from Kerala. He is a literature graduate, and an alumni of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) , where he specialized in script writing and direction. His work explores the interstices of literature, painting and cinema which finds its natural extension in his teaching practice. His feature docu-fiction, Letters Unwritten to Naiyer Masud, premiered at IFFR 2023, and was shown at various International and national film festivals. His recent short, Smrit~ premiered at IFFR 2026, in the Tiger short competition. As an educator he has extensive experience and has taught in instutuions like K.R Nrayanan FIlm Institute, Kerala, L.V Prasad and S.J.C.C Kerala

Banazer Akhter is an alumnus from the Producing for Film and Television Department, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute,India. She has served as an Executive Producer at Saj Entertainment Production House in Assam,
contributing to debut feature, short, and advertisement films. Boroxun: Songs for Rain, has been screened at various national and international film festivals, and received the Jury’s Special Mention for Best Feature Film at the
South Asian Film Festival of Montreal.
Her film,Dhundhgiri Ke Phool (A Flower in a Fog Light), premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam , winning the Best Experimental Film award at the Emami Art Experimental Film Festival and also the Best Short
Fiction Film award at the 15th IDSFFK,Kerala.She was also associated with the feature film Bokshi which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and is travelling to international and national genre festivals.
Banazer is a co-founder of Pink Lemon Production House in Assam.She is part of a documentary feature film project in development, supported by co-production platforms and arts grants.
Banazer has served as a guest faculty member at the International Academy of Film and Media in Dhaka, Bangladesh, mentoring six short films. She has also served in the Producing for Film and Television Department at Satyajit Ray Film
and Television Institute.

Partha Borgohain is a filmmaker and cinematographer with professional experience spanning feature films, documentaries, television, and advertising. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Madras Christian College and a Certificate in Cinematography from Mindscreen Film Institute, Chennai.
His first feature film, 1962 My Country Land, which he both directed and handled the cinematography for, was completed in 2016. Since then, he has worked extensively in multiple creative capacities, including direction, cinematography, and line production.
His body of work spans Assamese, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language projects. As a cinematographer, he has collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers such as Manju Borah, Rajiv Menon, Dan Wolman, Manabendra Adhikary, Epuru Krishna
Reddy, Prakash Deka, Nishajyoti Sharma and Bidyut Kotoky.
To date, he has served as cinematographer on eight feature films and has directed two films. His most recent film, Hiraeth, which he directed and shot, was officially selected for the Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2025, where it had its world premiere.

Pratham Kar is a Sound Designer, Mixing Engineer and Location Sound Recordist from Tripura. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Agartala, a Master’s in Instrumental Music (Flute) from Rabindra Bharati University, and a specialization in Sound Recording & Design from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute.
He has been associated with Spinning World Productions (since 2021), Lucky Penny Film, Cherrypix Movies Pvt. Ltd. (2022–2025), and SHOR STUDIOS (2022–present), working across feature films, short films, documentaries, and multilingual OTT based projects.
His credits include Shape of Momo (2025), Clinton (2021, Amazon Prime), Jasmine (2022, Jio Hotstar), A South Asian Queer Pamphlet (2022, premiered at IDFA), Vabhut (2022), Bandit’s Bazooka (2023), Jugnoo (2023), Love in Kalimpong (2023, Zee Music), Doko ko Chahari (2024), Kharman Taal (2025), Kanhaiya Vastavaiya (2025) and A Chronicle of the Lost (2025), among others.

Kaushik Das is a Master of Arts in Film Studies from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and
has done his Post-graduate Diploma in Film & Television Editing from Satyajit Ray Film
and Television Institute, Kolkata. For the last 25 years he has worked as an editor in many
feature films, web-series, documentaries, television commercials, corporate films, music
videos, short films, docu-dramas, dance-films and film promos. He has conducted editingworkshops in SRFTI, Kolkata, taught for short-term editing courses, and has mentored and
conducted online classes for various institutes and organisations. He has also co-written
television serials and has directed few corporate films and television promos.
Some of the notable feature films he has edited are Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Teen Patti,
The Wishing Tree, Kora Kagazz, Knock Out. He is the editor of the web-series Your Honor,
Dupur Thakurpo. He has edited TVCs for brands like Coca Cola, LG, Munch, Eveready,
Dabur, Whirlpool, Maruti, McDowells, TVS Scooty, HDFC, Compaq, Hair & Care,
Parachute etc. Some of the documentaries he has edited are Ramjanmabhoomi- Return Of
A Splendid Sun, Dharavi Dream Catchers, Who Says The Lepchas Are Dying, Road Less
Travelled. As co-writer he has written for television series Ganga, Laal Ishq, Gathbandhan,
Meri Gudiya, Anjali. He has directed corporate films for brands like Nestle and C K Birla
Hospitals and promos for Bengali television promos like Sunday Square.

Kendy Zirdo is a dynamic actor and educator from Arunachal Pradesh, with a rich blend of academic training and professional experience. She holds a Master’s in Performing Arts (Theatre Arts) from the University of Hyderabad, a B.A. in Economics, and a diploma from the National School of Drama, Sikkim Centre.

Kendy has acted in renowned films such as Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, Cheena Trophy, COP Uncle, and Sangi-Gai, which was screened at prestigious international platforms, including the Cannes Film Festival. She has also conducted impactful workshops with Theatre in Education (TIE) at the National School of Drama.

With her expertise in theatre and screen acting, Kendy is committed to inspiring and equipping students with the skills and confidence to excel in the world of performing arts.

Mukul is a filmmaker and educator from Assam. his works dwell between sensorial exploration and reflection on the socio-politics of his homeland. He is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Docnomads Erasmus Masters, Berlinale Talents, Locarno Filmmakers Academy, and the University of Delhi. He’s also a fellow of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship, Early Career Fellowship-TISS, and Nagari Film Fellowship-Charles Correa Foundation. His notable works include ‘Tales from Our Childhood,’ ‘Letter to Home,’ and ‘Days of Autumn´, which have received numerous awards, including the ‘Bala Kailasam Memorial Award,’ ‘Best Short at IDSFFK,’ and ‘Best Short – Cinema Experimenta,’ among others. His films have been showcased at renowned film festivals such as the Locarno Film Festival, Yamagata Film Festival, Mumbai Indian Film Festival, Arkipel Jakarta, Curtas Vila do Conde, and many more. He has been teaching film through numerous online and offline workshops and at various Indian universities, such as FTII, SRFTI, and Ashoka University.

Sushil Jadhav is a writer, filmmaker, and film academician from Pune. His plays have been well received and appreciated for their creative storytelling. He is an alumnus of the Department of Direction and Screenplay Writing at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and the Department of Mass Communication at Savitribai Phule Pune University. His films have been screened and praised at several film festivals across India. Sushil has worked as a content writer and copywriter in an advertising agency in Mumbai. He has also directed documentaries, ad films, and short films. In addition to his filmmaking work, Sushil is actively involved in film education with over five years of experience, having taught at prestigious institutions such as FTII, Symbiosis, and MIT. He has also served as a jury member for short film festivals across India.

Suk Bahadur Bashel born and raised in Tenga Valley, West Kameng districtof Arunachal Pradesh. He graduated with a degree in Hindi Honours from Dera NatungGovernment College, Itanagar, and completed his training in acting at the National School ofDrama, New Delhi, in 2005.An accomplished Actor , playwright ,Producer and director, he has written and directed numerous notable playssuch as Money Money Shehar, (Bertolt Brecht), The Legend of King Choygal Norzang, DrowaZangmu: Ek Devi ki Kahani, Daam Banaye Kaam, Doniyai Chumji , Rishtey the journey of life , yeh duniya pagalkhana hai, Paisa in mind toh love is blind, Hamro Samay. Dazzling the burn rice, Barrdikho the destiny, Aching Mooring, Tiranga in Tawang .

PhidiPulu holds a Master’s degree in Design (Animation) from IDC, IIT Bombay. Hailing from the picturesque and culturally rich state of Arunachal Pradesh, Phidi’s creative work is deeply rooted in storytelling, culture, and visual expression.
He has worked as a Research Associate on “Child Farmers”, a children’s book projectfunded by the Ratan Tata Trust in collaboration with IDC, IIT Bombay. He also contributed as a Project Associate to E-Kalpa, an initiative of IDC, IIT Bombay supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India as a part of the National Mission in Education through Information and Communication Technology, as part of this project, he developed educational animation video content for online platforms.
He later served as Art Director at Mobigraph Inc., a start-up focused on customizable 3D avatars and animation. He played a key role in the development of products such as Qugo and Expresso. Mobigraph’s technology has since powered products for notable clients including Samsung, LG, Kika, Amaronand etc.
In addition, some of his illustrated children’s books have been published by Pratham Books, contributing to early literacy and visual learning for young readers across India.

Rajoo Kumar is an accomplished Film Art Director & Production Designer with extensive experience in fine art and film design. He holds a postgraduate degree in Art Direction & Production Design from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Art from the College of Art, University of Delhi. For the past two years,. His journey began as a book illustration instructor at the National Bal Bhawan and as an assistant curator at the National Museum of Exhibitions Design and Photography Documentation.
He has also conducted a photography workshop at AD Design School and worked as an Art Director & Production Designer at various production houses including Red Chili Production House, Jio cinema studio,and Friday Filmworks. RSVP Movies Entertainment company/Guilty By Association Media LLP, Additionally, Dharma Productions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. Rajoo has been a faculty member at A.D The Design School, teaching Interior Design and Fine Arts. He has been a Graphics Consultant at the National Council of Educational Research and Training NCERT, and a guest faculty member at Delhi Technology University, Department of Design, the National Institute of Design M.P, and World University of Design. He also worked as a Film Designer at bringing his multifaceted skills to the industry.
