In pursuance of the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the Rules framed there under, and the UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015, as amended from time to time, the following Internal Committee (IC) of Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) is hereby reconstituted with immediate effect:

The Cell shall function in accordance with the applicable UGC guidelines/regulations issued from time to time and shall address matters relating to equal opportunity, non-discrimination, inclusivity, and related grievances within the Institute.

The Cell may examine complaints/representations received from students, employees, or other stakeholders concerning discrimination or denial of equal opportunity on any grounds prohibited under applicable norms and regulations, and may make suitable recommendations to the Competent Authority for appropriate action.
