Samadarshi Dutta
He has also been involved in teaching the craft of acting in various Institutes. He had taught at the Tripura Film and Television Institute at Agartala (Tripura) for almost 2 years. He has also taught as a visiting faculty at the State Institute of Film and Television, Rohtak (Haryana). He had taught at the Prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune inspiring and igniting eager young minds in furthering their talent and passion for the craft of Acting. He has recently joined the Film and Television Institute of India, Itanagar as the Head of the Department of Screen Acting.
Bishnu Dev Haldar
Selected for Talent Campus India, organized by Berlinale Talent Campus, in 2007, Bishnu was awarded the UK Environment Film Fellowship in 2010.
Bishnu’s films include Shukranu, Bagher Bachcha, Pratyabartan, I was Born in Delhi, and The Diary of a Refugee and have won numerous awards including National Film Award, Nomination at International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) and Opening Film in Indian Panorama at International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Supported/produced/co-produced by Sundance Institute, Japan Broadcasting Corporation/NHK, British Council, British High Commission, Films Division, Government of India, Public Service Broadcasting Trust; Bishnu’s films have been telecast on National Geographic, NHK, YLE, and Doordarshan, among others.
Ram Ji Ka Ghoda, his debut feature film script was selected as one of the six projects for the Drishyam | Sundance Screenwriters Lab 2016.
Bishnu’s debut feature fiction film as director, Shukranu, also written by him, was produced by Reliance Entertainment.
Bishnu’s debut feature fiction film as producer, Mangta Jogi, is readying for release.
Bishnu has been the Head/Director Programming – DocedgeKolkata, Asian Forum for Documentary, from 2010 – 1018.
Bishnu has also been the jury member of the National Film Awards, Docaviv International Film Festival, National Students’ Films Awards, among others.
Bishnu has conducted numerous workshops/classes and been part of sessions as industry expert/guest faculty at various institutions including FTII, SRFTI, IIT Bombay, Mumbai University, and Manipal University among many others.
Dominic Sangma
His first feature film MA•AMA (India/China) became the first Garo film to win a National Award. His second feature film Rapture which is a India / China / Switzerland / Qatar / Netherlands co-production world premiered at the Locarno Film Festival 2023. Since then it’s been travelling to various film festivals including Busan IFF, 3 Continents Nantes, EnergaCamerimage, Mumbai IFF (NETPAC Award) and has won multiple awards. Rapture was supported by Hubert Bals Fund, Vision Sud Est and Doha Film Institute.
Barnali Medhi
She directed and acted in more than 45 plays in different languages including Children Theatre and adult Theatre. She has participated in various Indian and International Theatre Festivals like World Theater Festival Shizuoka(SPAC) Japan, BHARAT RANG MAHOTSAV, MINERVA, META and acted in TV and Films.
She has experience of work with eminent Film Director Hansal Mehta, Meghna Gulzar and popular NDTV’s show Gali Gali Sim Sim.
Her acted film are- Yuva(Hindi) 2007, Oas(Nepali) 2013, Gali Gali Sim Sim (Hindi) 2015, Talwar(Hindi) 2015, Aligarh
(Hindi) 2015, Murder on the road to Kathmandu (Hindi), The Sex (2020).
She Produced many short films- Red Spot, Go for Organic, Mate, Mute Water, Sweet Poison, The Conflict and Trash for Teaching. Among them she directed short films- The Sex, Mate, Go for Organic, The Conflict
Her Directorial film “Go for Organic” received best promotional short film award in prestigious “The Himalayan Film Festival” organized by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Ladakh Territory. Also received Second best film award for the same film in “Global Sikkim Film Festival” organized by Sikkim Govt.
Another directorial MATE winning the best film in KidzCinema 2021 in Moviesaint platform and in Bhartiya chitra Sadhna 4th film festival got the 2nd runners up campus film award.
She received ‘Senior Fellowship Award 2019-20’ for the subject- “How Folk Story influences in children’s mentally, physically and social development in Assam.” by Ministry of Culture, Govt of India
Alka Singh
In addition to her filmmaking work, Alka has taught Screenplay Writing and Direction at institutions including MIT Art Design and Technology University, Film and Television Institute of India, Flame University, and Annapurna College of Film and Media. Her teaching emphasizes fostering creative thinking and developing strong practical skills in filmmaking.
Banazer Akhter
contributing to debut feature, short, and advertisement films. Boroxun: Songs for Rain, has been screened at various national and international film festivals, and received the Jury’s Special Mention for Best Feature Film at the
South Asian Film Festival of Montreal.
Her film,Dhundhgiri Ke Phool (A Flower in a Fog Light), premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam , winning the Best Experimental Film award at the Emami Art Experimental Film Festival and also the Best Short
Fiction Film award at the 15th IDSFFK,Kerala.She was also associated with the feature film Bokshi which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and is travelling to international and national genre festivals.
Banazer is a co-founder of Pink Lemon Production House in Assam.She is part of a documentary feature film project in development, supported by co-production platforms and arts grants.
Banazer has served as a guest faculty member at the International Academy of Film and Media in Dhaka, Bangladesh, mentoring six short films. She has also served in the Producing for Film and Television Department at Satyajit Ray Film
and Television Institute.
Partha Borgohain
His first feature film, 1962 My Country Land, which he both directed and handled the cinematography for, was completed in 2016. Since then, he has worked extensively in multiple creative capacities, including direction, cinematography, and line production.
His body of work spans Assamese, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language projects. As a cinematographer, he has collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers such as Manju Borah, Rajiv Menon, Dan Wolman, Manabendra Adhikary, Epuru Krishna
Reddy, Prakash Deka, Nishajyoti Sharma and Bidyut Kotoky.
To date, he has served as cinematographer on eight feature films and has directed two films. His most recent film, Hiraeth, which he directed and shot, was officially selected for the Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2025, where it had its world premiere.
Pratham Kar
He has been associated with Spinning World Productions (since 2021), Lucky Penny Film, Cherrypix Movies Pvt. Ltd. (2022–2025), and SHOR STUDIOS (2022–present), working across feature films, short films, documentaries, and multilingual OTT based projects.
His credits include Shape of Momo (2025), Clinton (2021, Amazon Prime), Jasmine (2022, Jio Hotstar), A South Asian Queer Pamphlet (2022, premiered at IDFA), Vabhut (2022), Bandit’s Bazooka (2023), Jugnoo (2023), Love in Kalimpong (2023, Zee Music), Doko ko Chahari (2024), Kharman Taal (2025), Kanhaiya Vastavaiya (2025) and A Chronicle of the Lost (2025), among others.
Kaushik Das
has done his Post-graduate Diploma in Film & Television Editing from Satyajit Ray Film
and Television Institute, Kolkata. For the last 25 years he has worked as an editor in many
feature films, web-series, documentaries, television commercials, corporate films, music
videos, short films, docu-dramas, dance-films and film promos. He has conducted editingworkshops in SRFTI, Kolkata, taught for short-term editing courses, and has mentored and
conducted online classes for various institutes and organisations. He has also co-written
television serials and has directed few corporate films and television promos.
Some of the notable feature films he has edited are Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Teen Patti,
The Wishing Tree, Kora Kagazz, Knock Out. He is the editor of the web-series Your Honor,
Dupur Thakurpo. He has edited TVCs for brands like Coca Cola, LG, Munch, Eveready,
Dabur, Whirlpool, Maruti, McDowells, TVS Scooty, HDFC, Compaq, Hair & Care,
Parachute etc. Some of the documentaries he has edited are Ramjanmabhoomi- Return Of
A Splendid Sun, Dharavi Dream Catchers, Who Says The Lepchas Are Dying, Road Less
Travelled. As co-writer he has written for television series Ganga, Laal Ishq, Gathbandhan,
Meri Gudiya, Anjali. He has directed corporate films for brands like Nestle and C K Birla
Hospitals and promos for Bengali television promos like Sunday Square.
Kendy Zirdo
Kendy has acted in renowned films such as Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, Cheena Trophy, COP Uncle, and Sangi-Gai, which was screened at prestigious international platforms, including the Cannes Film Festival. She has also conducted impactful workshops with Theatre in Education (TIE) at the National School of Drama.
With her expertise in theatre and screen acting, Kendy is committed to inspiring and equipping students with the skills and confidence to excel in the world of performing arts.

Phidi Pulu
He has worked as a Research Associate on “Child Farmers”, a children’s book projectfunded by the Ratan Tata Trust in collaboration with IDC, IIT Bombay. He also contributed as a Project Associate to E-Kalpa, an initiative of IDC, IIT Bombay supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India as a part of the National Mission in Education through Information and Communication Technology, as part of this project, he developed educational animation video content for online platforms.
He later served as Art Director at Mobigraph Inc., a start-up focused on customizable 3D avatars and animation. He played a key role in the development of products such as Qugo and Expresso. Mobigraph’s technology has since powered products for notable clients including Samsung, LG, Kika, Amaronand etc.
In addition, some of his illustrated children’s books have been published by Pratham Books, contributing to early literacy and visual learning for young readers across India.
Rajoo Kumar
He has also conducted a photography workshop at AD Design School and worked as an Art Director & Production Designer at various production houses including Red Chili Production House, Jio cinema studio,and Friday Filmworks. RSVP Movies Entertainment company/Guilty By Association Media LLP, Additionally, Dharma Productions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. Rajoo has been a faculty member at A.D The Design School, teaching Interior Design and Fine Arts. He has been a Graphics Consultant at the National Council of Educational Research and Training NCERT, and a guest faculty member at Delhi Technology University, Department of Design, the National Institute of Design M.P, and World University of Design. He also worked as a Film Designer at bringing his multifaceted skills to the industry.
