Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute and Films Division jointly organized a film festival of shorts, documentaries and animation films, a special selection from Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF). A package of 40 awards wining films were screened from 27th February to 3rd March, 2013 at SRFTI auditorium. The programme was inflated with the presence of the eminent filmmaker ShriGoutamGhosh as Chief Guest. In the Inaugural programme, ShriSanjayaPattanayk, the Director of SRFTI, delivered his Welcome Address to all. Shri V.S. Kundu, the Director General of Films Division, shared his views about the importance of such festival for young student filmmakers of SRFTI. The programme gradually moved with lighting the lamp and the noteworthy speech by the Chief Guest, Shri Goutam Ghosh
