SRFTI’s Animation Film ‘DA’ Lit Kids’ Shines at Dharamshala International Film Festival 2025

A Milestone for Indian Animation – Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) is delighted to announce that its student’s made animation film ‘DA’ Lit Kids’ has been officially selected and screened at the prestigious 14th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) 2025. The selection highlights the commitment of SRFTI’s Animation Cinema department to fostering innovation, creativity, and professional excellence in film education.

The short film, written, directed and animated by Appu Soman, with sound design by Tony Joppan, earned a spot in the competitive programme and represented SRFTI on an international stage. Their dedication and artistic vision have brought global recognition to the institute, reinforcing SRFTI’s reputation for nurturing future leaders of the film industry.
