The SRFTI and SCREEN Academy are encouraging the next generation of filmmakers
In a moment of immense pride, three students from the 22nd batch of the Film Wing have been selected by the SCREEN Academy for a full scholarship. Aswin Sunil from the Department of Cinematography, Saikat Patra from Direction and Screenplay Writing and Srestha Majumder from Animation Cinema have been recognised for their outstanding creative excellence and cinematic promise.
The Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) proudly announces its partnership with the SCREEN Academy, a pioneering not-for-profit initiative by The Indian Express Group. This partnership is a step forward for film education in India, and it will give talented students at the SRFTI a chance to get a great education.
This partnership makes the SRFTI a better place for people who want to learn about film and television. The SRFTI wants to help filmmakers, storytellers and artists. The SCREEN Academy is giving full scholarships to students who’re good at what they do, and this will help them get a great education in filmmaking.
The SCREEN Academy fellowship program reinforces the importance of investing in young cinematic voices. For aspiring filmmakers searching for top film schools in India with scholarship opportunities, this collaboration reflects SRFTI’s dedication to empowering the next generation of filmmakers.
The SRFTI is still helping to create storytellers all around the world. Partnerships like this one remind us of the SRFTI’s mission: to help people make art, get ready for a career in the film industry and contribute to the world of film and television.
Congratulations to the filmmakers of tomorrow. All of your journeys are just beginning, and the future of cinema looks brighter than ever.
