Assam to BUSAN: Maharshi’s ‘KOK KOK KOKOOOK’ Flies High!

Maharshi Tuhin Kashyap, a proud alumnus of SRFTI’s Direction & Screenplay Writing department, has made India and Assam proud with the selection of his debut feature film, ‘KOK KOK KOKOOOK’, at the prestigious 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2025 in South Korea!

This gripping tale of a migrant chicken seller’s obsession with his motorcycle explores the blurred lines between man and machine. As he navigates the complexities of life, his bond with the bike becomes an unsettling reflection of his own identity. ‘KOK KOK KOKOOOK’ is a testament to the talent and creativity of SRFTI’s alumni.
