Method of Selection:a) There will be a written examination of three hours duration. The paper for written examination will be divided in two sections. The first section will have 40 marks on mental aptitude; the second section will be of 60 marks on creative aptitude and specific area aptitude (total 100 marks). Answers have to be written in English only. b) Shortlisted candidates from Post Graduate Programme in Cinema will be called for interactive orientation course and interview. For Post Graduate Programme in Electronic & Digital Media, shortlisted candidates will only have to appear for interview.Candidates will be called in 1:4 ratio for general candidates and 1:5 ratio for reserved category as per merit list . c) The relative distribution of marks among the various stages of the selection process for Post Graduate Programme in Cinema is as follows: Among successful candidates, if more than one candidate is found to have scored identical marks in the merit list, the candidate who will have higher score in specific area aptitude test will be given preference in the merit list. The admit card and government recognized photo ID card will be required to attend the written examination. Mobile phone, pager, digital diary, calculator or any other such item(s) that are barred for security reason or assessed by the centre supervisor as unacceptable, will not be allowed in the examination hall.
